Why be a Treasure Hunter?
"Cry out for insight, and ask for understanding. Search for them as you would for silver; seek them like hidden treasures. Then you will understand what it means to fear the Lord, and you will gain knowledge of God. For the Lord grants wisdom! From his mouth come knowledge and understanding."

We are Treasure Hunters because God reveals Himself to us through His word! It is His primary method of communication. Through it He comforts, guides, encourages, teaches and expresses His love for us. It also protects us from being led astray. It is estimated that of the 80% of Americans who say they are Christians, less than 25% read their Bibles and fewer study their Bibles. Reading our Bibles is part of cultivating a personal intimate relationship with the Bread of Life, the King of Kings!
We have been invited on the greatest journey, the most amazing adventure ever undertaken... the privelege of knowing and walking with God. How can we not be Treasure Hunters?
